Well Hello There

Hello friends! I cannot seem to resist adorable non-scary monster stamps like this one from Daisy Bucket. Here is the card mentioned in my previous post that is headed in my cousin’s direction as we speak. I love, love, love bright colors so this was an especially fun card for me to make. All of the red paper was hand cut in an effort to make the jagged, irregular edges mimic the monster’s teeth. I attempted to make it look like this monster had taken a little nibble right out of the corner of the sentiment layer. Please make a note that I have broken my own personal record by using 3…count ‘em 3…different patterned papers on one card…lol. :) I hope you like what you’ve seen today.

Have a bright, non-scary Friday!

Don't Worry, Be Happy

Okay, this little gal turned out to have a little more gray hair than I had planned for when coloring her, but hey- we all have those kind of days, right? Gray haired ladies can jam out to their Ipods, too ya know…lol…I know I plan to! :) The sentiment inside the card says “Don’t worry, be happy”, which I thought was quite fitting for this card. This card will be headed towards one of my favorite cousins with a little ITunes gift card tucked inside…the perfect treat after the first full week of school. I’ll share the card I made for her brother (my other favorite cousin…wink) on my blog soon. He’ll have a gift card tucked inside his as well. Isn’t sending little treats to long distance loved ones fun? I sure think so. See ya soon!

Have a don’t worry, be happy kinda day!
