Happy hump day peeps! :) I'm dropping by to share a card that I made recently using a Tiddly Inks digi image. I really struggled with this card for some reason. I am happy to report, though, that I used a pin on a card for the first time ever...woot woot! I am probably the last crafter on earth who hasn't used a pin on a card...LOL.

Have a good one!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #73

Hello there! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend so far. The Cupcake Inspiration Challenge this week is sponsored by the lovely peeps at Phindy's Place.

Isn't this cupcake gorgeous!?! The cupcake is so elegant and beautiful that I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try to make a card to match. I typically gravitate toward more cutesy style cards. If you met me in real life you'd realize I am anything but elegant. LOL

The stamp set used is Four of a Kind by Papertrey Ink, and it was a limited edition set available to CHA attendees. As soon as I saw the inspiration image, I knew this stamp set would be a perfect fit. Don't you just love it when that happens?

Don't forgot to stop by and play in the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge... :)

Crafty hugs,

Stamps: PTI Four of a Kind
Paper: PTI vintage cream
Ink: Palette burnt umber, PTI lavendar moon
Accessories: Sheer ribbon, pearls

Aren't Sundays sweet? :) I am soooo excited to announce that I will be joining the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge design team beginning today...woot woot!

This week's challenge, sponsored by Whimsy Stamps, is to create a project inspired by the deliciously cute cupcake shown above. Yum! I hope you'll stop by and join us for this fun inspiration challenge over at the CIC blog.

Bellarific Friday

Hi peeps! :) Do you love Fridays as much as I do? This card was used as my submission for this week's Bellarific Friday challenge, and the theme this week was bling. Who doesn't love a little bling (or a lot...LOL)!?! Scoot on over to the Stamping Bella blog if you'd like to see all of the submissions.
Here is a more detailed view of my card which (hopefully) will show the bling a little bit better. I just adore this Happy Forest image by Stamping Bella.

So I have made this card for a very dear friend of mine whose birthday is today. Yes, it's true I am historically terrible at sending birthday cards out on time (hanging head in shame). Please tell me I am not the only one with this problem!?! LOL I think I should really make that one of my New Year's resolutions. Happy Birthday to both my friend Angie and my nephew Teghan today!

Celebrate today and every day! :)

Hi there! :) I am stopping by quickly to share a card that I made today in under 30 minutes. Now, keep in mind that I used an image that had already been colored and I am a slooooowwww cardmarker by nature. While it's nothin' fancy, it did the trick in a pinch. I was crunched for time today and absolutely had to get a birthday gift in the mail. I couldn't send that gift out naked (without a card), could I? LOL I'll be back tomorrow with some eye candy...

Unity Friends with Flair Friday

Hi Unity friends! :) It's Friends with Flair Friday...woot woot! To see a complete list of bloggers participating today just scoot on over to the Unity blog and prepare to be inspired.

I love, love, love Halloween! I might be a little early, but hey whatever works right? I used the Unity Unlucky 13 stamp set (I think for the first time ever). I tried to get all Tim Holtz-y with my Cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder, sponging, and glimmer mist, but it looks like I might need a little more practice with that technique before I actually get the look I was going for (wink). Random side note...I wonder if glimmer mist has a shelf life. Let's just say my glimmer mist smelled a bit funky until it dried...LOL.

Thanks for visiting!
Stamps: Unity Unlucky 13
Paper: SU kiwi, pale plum, perfect plum, black, Junkitz Teresa Collins Halloween Words pp
Ink: Memento Tuxedo black, SU pale plum, perfect plum
Accessories: Cuttlebug spiderweb embossing folder, Schiff ribbon, The Paper Studio brads, Glimmer Mist, sponging tool, MS cornice border punch, SU scallop border punch

Bellarific Friday

Hello lovely ladies (and gents if you're out there). :) I hope you are having a fabulous week! Today I am participating in Bellarific Friday, and this week's theme is paper piecing. Check out more Bellarific Friday submissions at the Stamping Bella blog if you wish. The majority of this image is paper pieced, right down to the layered butterflies. All that paper piecing was a lot of work, but it was a lot of fun too. I had sort of forgotten how much I really like this technique...gotta love that!

The Stamping Bella image used is Gertie from the Lulu collection, and the sentiment is also by Stamping Bella. Gertie was one of the nicknames used for me as a child, so it makes me smile to see that name. Ahhh...warm fuzzy. LOL Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my card today!

Have a good one! :)
